The iSMD series is a flagship product under the i-Kinco technology philosophy. iSMD adopts a wide voltage input of 24-60VDC, with a power range of 400W-1000W. The compact design integrates the motor, drive, encoder, and brake, allowing for field installation and a cabinet-less design. iSMD supports battery-powered or mechanical multi-turn encoder. The product is available in IP20 or IP65 protection models, with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C. The product supports multiple communication methods including CANopen, Modbus RTU, EtherCAT, and Profinet. The product meets CE certification, RoHS 2.0 and UL standards, and supports STO safety function.
Safe Torque Off (STO) is a foundational drive-based safety function that immediately cuts the energy supply to a motor, preventing it from generating rotational force. It provides a highly reliable, fail-safe mechanism to prevent unintended motor startups, allowing machinery to coast to a stop safely
