Lỗi “Side-By-Side” trong Scada CimonD

Q: Error message “Side By Side” appears when executing a CIMON-D.

A: To execute a CIMON-D that is based on Visual C++, “Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package(x86)” must be installed first. The current SCADA includes this package in it. Here are the few cases for “Side-By-Side” error below.

1. “Side-By-Side” error can occur under following conditions;

+ When the installed version of “Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package” is lower than “2008”, SCACA Library might not be installed properly on PC.

+ When other program is installed, this can modify the Libraries of “Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package”.

2. Solution

Uninstall and delete the previously installed “Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package” completely, and reinstall “Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package”.

3. At Control Panel when installation is completed

※ Once the higher version of “Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package” is installed on PC, then the lower version of it cannot be installed additionally.

※ If there are multiple versions of “Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package” to be installed, then the lower version must be installed first following by the higher version.
