2.2. Multiple Trend
The Multiple trend uses the X-axis (time axis) in common and uses the Y-axis (tag value axis) individually. This distinctive feature allows the users to individualize the trend of different tags. Multiple trend is usually used to monitor the digital tags
(1) Setting Multiple Trend
You can create the Multiple Trend on the graphic page by selecting ‘Multiple’ on the ‘Trend Type’.
(2) Grid
In Multiple Trend, there is no option for the Y-axis grid
Show X-Axis Grid | Shows or hides the X-axis grid. | |
Grid | Assign the number of grids on the X-axis. You can assign from1 to 99 grids. | |
Color | You can set a grid color. You can choose one from the 90 colors. | |
Show Y-Axis Grid | Shows or hides the Y-axis grid. | |
Color | You can set a grid color. You can choose one from the 90 colors. |
(3) Ruler
Ruler is a similar functionality to the grid
Bottom Ruler | Shows or hides the ruler at the bottom of the Trend area. |
Top Ruler | Shows or hides the ruler at the top of the Trend area. |
Left Ruler | Shows or hides the ruler on the left side of the Trend area. |
Right Ruler | Shows or hides the ruler on the right side of the Trend area. |
Division Number | Assign the number of divisions. |
Subdivision Number | Assign the number of subdivisions. |
Color | You can set a ruler color. You can choose one from the 90 colors |
(4) Y-Axis Legend
You can configure the legend of the Y-axis
Left Value | Shows or hides the min/max value on the left Y-axis. | |
Right Value | Shows or hides the min/max value on the right Y-axis. | |
Value Length | Assign the length of value labels. You can assign the length from 2 to 99. | |
Format | Select the format of value labels. | |
???? | The value will be displayed with corresponding Tag Value settings. |

####.0 | The value will be displayed including one decimal place. | |
####.00 | The value will be displayed including two decimal places. | |

2.3 XY Trend
XY Trend uses both X and Y-axis to display the tag values. This Trend type is usually used
to find the correlation between the different process data. You can assign a tag to the Xaxis as a criterion. Then you can assign maximum 16 tags to the Y-axis
(1) Setting XY Trend
You can create the XY Trend on the graphic page by selecting ‘XY’ on the ‘Trend Type’.
(2) X-Axis Legend
Bottom Time | Shows or hides the time display at the bottom of the Trend area. |
Top Time | Shows or hides the time display at the top of the Trend area. |
Value Num | Assign the number of value labels to be displayed on the X-axis. You can assign from 2 to 99 labels. |
Color | You can set a value label color. You can choose one from the 90 colors. |
Tag Name | Enter the tag name which will be the criterion of the X-axis. You may manually enter the tag name or browse the tag through button. |
Min | Assign the minimum value which will be displayed in the trend area. The minimum value of the assigned tag is the default. |
Max | Assign the maximum value which will be displayed in the trend area. The maximum value of the assigned tag is the default. |
Comment | Write a description of the tag. |
Value | Assign the length of value labels. You can assign the length from 1 to 99. |
Format | Select the format of value labels. |
Set origin to the left | You can set the direction of data update. When you select the option, the data flows from the left to right. The default direction of the data flow is from right to left. |
3. STEP Multi-Trend
Một Trend hiển thị dữ liệu theo các bước do người dùng xác định. Kiểu Trend này thường được sử dụng để theo dõi xu hướng dữ liệu dựa trên một tiêu chí. Bạn có thể thiết lập một đường dẫn dự kiến của xu hướng và so sánh nó với xu hướng thực tế.
3.1 Step Trend
Bạn có thể chỉ định tối đa 16 mục thời gian và dữ liệu (T0 ~ T15, V0 ~ V15). Nếu giá trị không được chỉ định trong một phần, nó sẽ được nhận dạng là 0. Đặt giá trị thời gian của phần cuối cùng là 0

Bạn có thể gán tối đa 16 thẻ đầu vào. Thẻ hành động biểu thị thẻ điều khiển hoạt động của ST Trend.

OFF->ON | Inputs the values and initializes the Trend. Starts to log data in a new file name. |
ON->OFF | Ends the Trend and stops the data logging |
(1) Multi Control
Nhấp đúp vào [Step Trend] trong không gian làm việc của dự án hoặc chọn [Tools] – [Step Trend] để mở cửa sổ [Multi Control]. Nếu [Step Trend] không tồn tại, hãy vào thư mục CIMONSCADA và tìm tệp ‘AddOn.Ist’ và thêm văn bản sau vào cuối tệp.

Model Name | Enter the name of the model. The model name cannot be duplicated. |
Value | Assign the maximum 16 setting values and times. You can also select the time format. The last setting time must be 0. |
Action Tag | Assign the tag which starts or stops the Step Multi-Trend. |
Input tag #1 - #16 | Assign the tags to log data. |
Time Tag | When you assign the time tag, the data will be logged based on the increment of the time tag. The value of the time tag must increase from 0. |
Interval | Assign the data logging interval. You can assign from 1 to 9999 seconds. |
Save In | Assign the absolute path where the Step Trend data will be stored. This section cannot be left blank. |
Max Buffer | Assign the maximum number of days to maintain the data. You can assign from1 to 9999 days. |
File Name | Assign the file name using an operation expression. E.g.) TimeStr(12) In Windows, you cannot use special characters as a file name. Therefore, please avoid using time formats which includes special characters such as ‘/’ or ‘.’. |
Add | Adds a model with the current setting. |
Ok | Select a model and apply the edited settings. |
Delete | Deletes the selected model from the editor |
When you set the setting value as shown below, the section will be displayed
(2) Setting ST Trend
You can create the ST Trend on the graphic page by selecting ‘ST’ on the ‘Trend Type’.
(3) Pen
In the [Pen] tab, the tags assigned in the Step Multi-Trend model is automatically connected to the trend

Configure the corresponding tag. You can configure the pen in the [Pen] window which is brought up by pressing the number button. |

Comment | Write a description of the pen. | |
Min Value | Assign the minimum value which will be displayed in the trend area. The minimum value of the assigned tag is the default. | |
Max Value | Assign the maximum value which will be displayed in the trend area. The maximum value of the assigned tag is the default. |

Mark Style | You can assign the mark style of the trend. The default is a line style. | |
Pen | You can set a pen color. You can choose one from the 90 colors. |

Line Style | Select shape of the line between two values. You can select one option from ‘No’, ‘Line’, and ‘Step’. | |
Static | You can set the thickness of the line. You can assign the value from 1 to 8. | |

Pen | You can set a pen color. You can choose one from the 90 colors |
(4) Toolbar
You can show or hide the toolbar of the Step Trend

You can assign the position of the toolbar. If you do not select the option, the toolbar will
not appear. The width of the Trend object can be wider than that of the toolbar

This button is activated when the Trend object is in Historical mode. You can edit the configuration or save as a file. |

Model | Displays the name of the model which is assigned to the current Step Trend object | |
Time Form | Displays the setting time as the selected time unit. | |
Read | Checks the changed configuration in the Trend object. | |
Write | Applies the changed configuration to the Trend. | |
Conf. File | You can save the current configuration as a ‘*.msc’ file with the assigned name. You can also load an existing file and change the configuration | |
Historical Data |
This button is activated when the Trend object is in Historical mode. You can load or delete the selected file. |

ST Model | Displays the name of the model which is assigned to the current Step Trend object. |

Include Folder Saved | When you select the option, ‘…’ is included in front of the file name which is currently saving the data. . |

Rename | Select a Step Trend data from the list and rename the file. You cannot use the special characters such as ‘/’ or ‘.’. |

Open | Displays the selected Step Trend data on the Trend object. | |
Cancel | Cancels the operation and goes back to CimonX screen. | |
Delete | Deletes the selected Step Trend data from the file path | |
Model Change |
Replaces the current Step Trend model with another model among the models in the Step Trend Editor |

Prints out the current Trend display. | ||
Prev Frame | Displays the previous frame. | |
Prev | Displays the data of the last sampling time. | |
Next | Displays the data of the next sampling time. | |
Next Frame | Displays the next frame. | |
Trend Mode | Switches the Trend mode between real-time Trend and historical Trend. | |
Base Pen | Changes the order of the monitored tags. The max/min value of the Y-axis may change according to the tag order | |
Set Min/Max |
Changes the min/max value of the specified tag or determines the display of the pen. You may bring up the window shown below by pressing the button |

Pen Number | Select or deselect the corresponding button to determine the display of the pen. At the bottom of the window, you can select a pen number and press [Apply] button. This function is to apply the value of the corresponding pen to the other pens | |
Historian Trend | Retrieves the Historian data. |
(5) MultiStage Control Trend
Applies the Step Trend model to the Trend object.
Show X-Axis Setpoint: Decides whether to apply YT Trend type display to the object or not. When you select the option, the Step Trend object ignores the YT Trend type display.
